Falafel Games Secures $2.6 Million to Expand Gaming Presence in the Middle East
Falafel Games, a gaming studio based in Lebanon, has raised $2.6 million in a Series A funding round led by Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP) and iSME Holdings
The investment will be used to support upcoming launches and market expansion
Falafel Games is one of the first gaming studios to emerge in the Middle East, focusing on MMO (massively multiplayer online) games
They are best known for having produced the entirely Arabic content MMO game فرسان المجد (Knights of Glory) and the first game in the MENA to offer cross-platform access between the web and the iPhone حرب الحروب (Hot Blood)
Their latest game اكشن انمي (Action Anime) has been their best-selling game thus far.
