Mainframe Industries Raises $22.9M in Series B Led by Andreessen Horowitz

  • Game developer Mainframe Industries has closed a $22.9 million (EUR 20.3 million) Series B round led by Andreessen Horowitz

  • This is Andreessen Horowitz's second investment in the Helsinki-based cloud gaming studio, having participated in Mainframe's Series A funding round last year

  • Jonathan Lai, the general partner of Andreessen Horowitz, will join the Mainframe board of directors

  • The funding includes a $3.4 million from Business Finland

  • Mainframe, however, didn't disclose valuation in its statement

  • The company is now focusing on growing bases in Helsinki, Reykjavik and its new studio in Paris
