GetSetup Raises $10 Million to Expand Senior Education Platform

  • GetSetup, a digital hub for seniors with hundreds of class offerings, has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by Cowboy Ventures and LightShed Ventures

  • The startup, which launched one month before the U.S

  • went on pandemic lockdown, has amassed 4 million users, 80% of whom are women over the age of 60

  • GetSetup is also announcing a new partnership with healthcare firm Tivity Health that will make GetSetup free for 18 million Americans who are enrolled in more than 70 eligible Medicare health insurance plans

  • The company has also signed deals with senior living communities and the healthcare programs of several U.S
