GetSetup Raises $10 Million to Expand Senior Education Platform
GetSetup, a digital hub for seniors with hundreds of class offerings, has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by Cowboy Ventures and LightShed Ventures
The startup, which launched one month before the U.S
went on pandemic lockdown, has amassed 4 million users, 80% of whom are women over the age of 60
GetSetup is also announcing a new partnership with healthcare firm Tivity Health that will make GetSetup free for 18 million Americans who are enrolled in more than 70 eligible Medicare health insurance plans
The company has also signed deals with senior living communities and the healthcare programs of several U.S
states—including Michigan’s Medicaid program and New York’s Department of Aging—and countries.
