Entrata Raises $507 Million, Becomes Utah's Newest Unicorn
Entrata, a property management software company based in Lehi, Utah, has raised $507 million in funding from a group of investors led by Silver Lake and the family offices of Qualtrics cofounder Ryan Smith and Vivint cofounder Todd Pedersen
The company, which was founded in 2003, has been bootstrapped for 18 years and is now valued at more than $1 billion
Entrata's new CEO, Adam Edmunds, is a former president of Podium and has been close to Entrata cofounder Dave Bateman for many years
The funding will be used to make acquisitions and grow faster outside the U.S.
